Occupational Health and Safety Certificate Program

Fundamentals of Hazardous Waste Awareness

  • Fundamentals of Hazardous Waste Awareness is offered free of charge to Georgia hazardous waste handlers so that they can comply with EPA regulations for “cradle to grave” management of hazardous waste.

Hazardous Waste Manifest Training Video

  • Hazardous Waste Manifest Training Video introduces the new manifest form, highlights the differences between the new and the previous manifest form, and provides specific instructions to generators, transporters and treatment/storage/disposal facilities.


GECAP personnel are involved in several types of outreach activities. The goal of outreach presentations is to disseminate information on specific environmental information tailored to an audience. These presentations are made to local chambers of commerce, industry trade associations or groups, community colleges, and individual companies as well as at national conferences.
